Camper on the Tour
For many years campers have accompanied the Tour de France at every turn. They observe every stage and the are looking very early for the best places to cheer at their cyclist-idols.
Because of the very narrow course through Gernsbach there are only few parking possibilities very close to the course. So we have decided to install a parking lot especially for campers.
On Friday, 8th July and on Saturday 9th July the «Färbertorplatz» is the parking area for campers. The «Färbertorplatz» is in the middle of Gernsbach, just about 2 – 3 walking minutes from the course.
How you get there?
After the «Felix-Hoesch-Brücke», the bridge northern bridge
over the river murg, you turn left into the «Weinbergstraße» and
follow the street. The «Färbertorplatz» is signposted from
here.
Some parking spaces are also located on the parking lot at the «Murginsel», just 5 minutes from the course.
